Christmas 2013

natale

Merry Christmas ... of Jesus to all sisters, wherever they are in their apostolic mission... and to all collaborators, those who share the same mission of ANNOUNCING THE JOY OF GOSPEL.

“The Love of God, the power of God made a small child….Oh wonder of mystery… ! oh blessed cave of Bethlehem that have seen such a “emptying” of Son of God” (ma A. Paris)

Let’s contemplate and learn from this lesson…

Immaculate Mother

 figura

There is a Marian “style” to the Church’s work of evangelization. Whenever we look to Mary, we come to believe once again in the revolutionary nature of love and tenderness. In her we see that humility and tenderness are not virtues of the weak but of the strong who need not treat others poorly in order to feel important themselves. Contemplating Mary, we realize that she who praised God for “bringing down the mighty from their thrones” and “sending the rich away empty” (Lk 1:52-53) is also the one who brings a homely warmth to our pursuit of justice. She is also the one who carefully keeps “all these things, pondering them in her heart” (Lk 2:19). Mary is able to recognize the traces of God’s Spirit in events great and small. She constantly contemplates the mystery of God in our world, in human history and in our daily lives. (EG 288)

Our Immaculate Mother, she is our guide and sign on our missionary walking. We want to be as She was,  witness of love and tenderness ....persuit justice, and bring a joy of faith.

Happy Feast day ! ... for all of our sisters, for our collaborators,  for all those who share with us the life and the marvelous journey of faith.

the Joy of the Gospel

With joy we welcome the Exhortation of eg-enPope Francis that enligthens our missionary commitment... together with others collaborating in the same project of the kIngdom of God:  "When the Church summons Christians to take up the task of evangelization, she is simply pointing to the source of authentic personal fulfilment. For "here we discover a profound law of reality: that life is attained and matures in the measure that it is offered up in order to give life to others. This is certainly what mission means". (EG 10)

"May I Love you and make you loved" (S. A.M. Claret)

"With the Fire of the Gospel in our hands...." (M.A. Paris)

As we are witnessing the tragedy of thousands of people affected by the effects of typhoon we are too witnessing the solidarity of thousands of brothers and sisters in bringing them help, relieve and hope.

As Claretian Family we join the efforts of other institutions and facilitate the channel of solidarity. The sisters of our pilipino communities are directly involved and from other corners of the world we stretch out our arms in concrete gestures of aid. Especially in Iloilo Island.

Our claretian NGO Korimasur is forwarding material collaboration. If you wish you can send it through: THANK YOU!

Claret Celebration

As we celebrate, recall, feel challeged by the life of Saint Anthony Maria Claret (1807 - 1870), our Founder, we look at him with joy and certain admiration. In all places of our  claretian presence, together with the whole Claretian Family, we commemorate his passion for Christ and Claret misionerofor the People, a life modeled on the ligth of the Word of God and Eucarist. It has been for many years and still is an inspiration for our missionary service, trying to witness the Love of God in different ways and variety of cultures.

Happy celebration for each one!!!!

"I not only thought about becoming good as Jesus, but I was continuously trying to imagine what I could do to work for salvation on others. Hence I prayed continuously to Jesus and Mary, offering myself to them for this purpose. The lives of the saints, which we read daily at table, and my own spiritual reading all contributed to this. But what moved and stimulated me most was reading the Holy Bible, to which I have always been very strongly attracted". (Autobiography Claret 113)

August 15

On this day, 162 years ago, ... How would be this simple encounter, this cordial act of mutual commitment there in Tarragona, to embark the adventure of God in community, available to do everything, even to cross the oceans, with the only compass that polarized their ways, the one of the will of God, directing them to the mission to bring the Gospel which they intended to fully live up ...? Smiles and joy in their faces, illusion and communion. These are our roots!  manosunidas

With Mary, then, lift up our eyes, in faith, till our gaze is able to perceive ... the horizon is wide ... We continue our congregational journey.
